A hint of kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass give this classic Malaysian dish a regal flavor. Use with beef, chicken or lamb.
This sauce is especially good with beef. The cooking time depends on the type of meat and cut used. We recommend beef Tri Tip loin, cut into 1/2-inch to 1-inch cubes. Simmer the Tri Tip loin in the sauce on low heat until tender, approximately 45-60 minutes. This dish can be serve with rice, pasta or French bread. This dish tastes excellent the next day, too!
This packet of sauce can be used for up to 2 lbs of meat and makes 4-6 servings.
